TeamSpeak is a quality, scalable application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. TeamSpeak consists of both client and server software. The server acts as a host to multiple client connections, capable of handling literally thousands of simultaneous users!
It has push to talk and voice activation and you can set macros, cross channel whispering etc, etc, etc!
There are also many public servers you can use for free, speak to you loved ones or gaming team m8s as if you where in the same room!

I am new to using TeamSpeak, coming over from Ventrilo, but so far - I am loving it! It is pretty easy to use and the clarity is decent! However, though not as convenient, I still enjoy using Skype for most one on one adventures. =)
